Karen White is a multi-lingual commercial and marketing leader with extensive experience in building and developing brands and businesses. Originally from Midleton, Cork, Karen holds a degree in International Marketing and Languages from Dublin City University. She speaks German, Spanish and French.

Karen began her career in the spirits industry as a brand ambassador for Jameson Irish Whisky in Germany. She continued working for the global drinks company, Pernod Ricard, for more than a decade, both in Germany and the UK and served in a number of different marketing roles and commercial roles including Regional Director EMEA.

When a trip to Ecuador, South America turned into a permanent move, Karen pivoted from the spirits industry to the online space and began partnering with CEOs, startups and solopreneurs to grow and scale their personal and professional brands. Karen is a strong believer in the value of consumer insight and data-led marketing and her passion is leading and inspiring others by building authentic connections.

On returning to Ireland in 2020, she continued her entrepreneurial journey, setting up Kykava Consulting Ltd, providing operational management, digital expertise, marketing and strategic guidance to small businesses in the online space.

Karen is delighted to be leading the commercial team at Ahascragh Distillery, overseeing the continued growth of Clan Colla Irish Whiskey, UAIS Irish whiskey and Xin Gin nationally and internationally.
