The first Single Malt release in our Ahascragh Distillers Family Bond Series was distilled in 2001 and represents an extremely limited release.
Irish legend tells the story of the Three Colla brothers, Colla Uais, Colla Fo Chrí and Colla Menn who conquered and ruled over most of Ireland with Colla Uais becoming Ard Rí or High King of Ireland in the 4th century.
This sourced-release spent 19 years in first fill American White Oak Bourbon Casks, before being finished in Spanish Oloroso Butts from Jerez.
Clan Colla 19 Year Old Single Malt with an Oloroso Finish won a Silver medal, scoring 94 points, at the International Wine and Spirits Competition.

Nose: Aromatic toasted maltiness with citrus hints
Taste: Creamy smooth caramel, dried fruit, nuttiness, vanilla & chocolate orange
Finish: A long and sophisticated finish with a final release of the full bodied flavours
